    Full game price question?

    So when I go to the option to buy the full game and xfer my character from trial via the FFXIV mog website, it tells me it's $25. But on the Square Enix store it's $20. What is the difference? The character transfer?

    Really considering buying the game but very confused about the above...

    Tax? I don't believe that they charge extra just because you upgrade the account.

    That's why I'm confused. The product price to upgrade shows as 24.99, but on the squenix store it shows as 19.99...

    Hmm I'm not really sure to be honest. The reasoning makes since that the transfer could be the difference in price. I just don't know why they they would in the end charge you for a free trial.

    Yeah, if I don't get a straight answer I'll just make another account and buy the 19.99 version. I want to level as a rogue anyway, which isn't available in the trial.

    I would suggest conacting service support and asking them via the phone or their website chat deal. I'm curious as what the answer is. Sorry I couldn't be of more of a help.

    Rogue should be available in the trial, it is just not a starting class, so you will have to get another class to 10 before you can change to rogue. Be sure you pick one of the Limsa classes to start if you reroll. As Coombah said you might have better luck getting a response from SE by contacting them in game.

    Yeah, I did that and the fellow said it's cheaper in the online store because of "a promotion" (sounds to me like they just haven't bothered updating the mog site!). Either way, thanks for the responses guys.

    There's no need to make another account. Just buy the cheaper one and apply it to your current account. Just make sure it's the version for the platform you're using. (Unless you're running the Steam version of the trial. I've heard there are some limitations with how you upgrade that one.)
