    Noob Attribute Point Question

Hey just started this game and I love it so far! I'm leveling up an Arcanist right now eventually to be a Summoner.

Do I put all of my attribute points into Intelligence or should I put some into Vitality as well? If I go straight Intelligence will I be like one shot all the time or do I gain adequate HP as I level? Is Vitality just a tanking stat similar to Stamina in WoW? SO MANY QUESTIONS

    Thanks

Most of the time you just put all of your points into your main stat. If you are planing on becoming a SMN (DPS) then that would be INT. You can always respec them later if need be, by purchasing a Keeper's Hymn from your Grand Company using points. They are pretty cheap. VIT ups your over all HP and can be useful stat for everybody at endgame, but you don't need more than what your gear and lvl will provide while lvling.

The game is entirely tuned around expecting nobody to have VIT except in edge cases where you're trying to do certain really dangerous content with underlevelled gear (And I mean super high end). The stuff that is going to oneshot you in this game, generally, isn't something that a few extra stat points in VIT will enable you to survive - it's stuff that's not meant to hit you (or at least only your tanks).

Feel free to pump all stat points into INT. If you plan to be swapping regularly between SCH and SMN as you level further (because ACN allows that), you can get away with 15 in each; 15 points is honestly not that severe a difference until we're talking super endgame at which point you'll be able to make the decision to focus/switch much, much easier.
