(Ragnarok) Servers demography (help !)

Hi !
My First Char (Erudit lvl 50) was created on Zodiark. I choose completely randomly. It appears that it's a really busy server : even before 17H markets are completely full of crafter and purchaser, you often got around ten guys on the same Fate...

well i wanted to reroll but the game didn't allow me to create a new charcter on the same server.
So i took again a server randomly and Ragnarok won the lottery.
It's 18h30 and Cities are completely empty ! f*** the what ?! It's so weird to see 3 poor guys afk in Lominsa Market !
It's especially weird since Ragnarok is a "Legacy" server. Isn't it supposed to mean that it's one of the oldest servers ?

Someone could explain to me what happened here (Bahamut won against the old guy ?) Does the server viable for a crafter character ? SHould i just transfer to an other world ?

It could be a timezone problem. You are European, right? (Since you appear to be choosing EU servers)

As i already told, in Zodiark, even if the rush time zone is after 17h, there are always quit a few players before.

Ragnarok looks like a no man's land. Right now we are about ten in the market street of Limsa.

Ragnarok is a Legacy server that has been in use since 1.0. Most players are going to be at cap and will likely be hanging out around Revenant's Toll or the Gold Saucer.
Also, at least on Sargatanas, the economy has stalled because of the expansion. Most people are holding on to their gil atm so the market areas are less busy than they used to be.

I heard Moogle has a decent sized French population.
Maybe make a character there and take a spin around Limsa sometime?

Honestly Rangarok is really busy. There's always 10+ parties in PF at any time. In fact there's 7 now and it's 2:00AM

Most of the people I know already beat T13 and farmed it whole, so probably the server will be pretty empty until the expansion, because we literally have nothing else to do, other than leveling another job, keep farming stuff we don't even need or maybe beat Savage Coil.

I think it shows the limits of the non reroll character system. "the economy has stalled" cause veterans don't need a lot of interactions with others about materials and stuff. Since instances are interserver it doesn't bothered fighting class, but the markets are localised.

lot of players are taking a hiatus until heavensward so the server might be less than populated than usual
