tbh i dont see as many characters on your screen, either you are on a lonely server or your char quantity setting is not max as everyone else

your GPU is running at 540MHz?
must be you have the limit frame rate when client is inactive on. when you switch your window to task manager the FF is running at limited frame rate.

no, i want to believe hence why i make this thread. your previous screenshots didnt tell the whole story, but now they do. u cant just assume everyone is on the same setting as yours can u?
now that we're at it, tell us how did u get that fps?
sure my fps is at the lower end, but everyone else except you are nowhere close to 60 either.
iirc your spec is i7 4790k with gtx 980?

I believe you. I like to find out why, may be population difference on servers or mine is done during prime time. Two generation difference between processors can't double the performance. I'm using 16 GB of 2400Mhz DDR3 on my system.

My old computer was a I7 950 3.0 (stock speed) with a GTX 760 and in 1080p i was getting around 15-30fps in cities (specially mordhona). a few months ago i got a i7 4790k with the same GTX 760 and then my fps improved from 15-30 to 45-55.

This game doesnt need a extreme powerful card.

I intentionally have a cheap ass cpu (G3258) with a decent gpu (R9 270X) and FF14 has to be the ONE game that throws the curveball at me

If you turn down your memory speed does it reduce your FPS? Maybe set it at 1600Mhz. (system memory, not GPU memory)

3930k 6 cores 12 threads @ 3.8Ghz (50'c)
GTX TITAN 1050Mhz (41'c)



Winter Time Setting:
3930k 6 cores 12 threads @ 4.6Ghz (60'c)
GTX TITAN 1200Mhz (45'c)

Don't have the image but running at 45FPS.


Keep in mind OP, GTX TITAN > GTX 970 I would have a bit more FPS than yours.

Low temp, entire rig is under watercool.
