bottleneck performance?

I remember reading that the GTX 970 had a memory issue as the memory is used up. There was a design flaw that was meant to improve performance on lower end machines but it ended up causing it to drop performance drastically when it gets close to using all of it's vram available. yes thats the 3.5 + 0.5GB vram thing. framerate will drop if u hit more than 3.5gb vram and its still far from FF14 usage which is around 1GB.
