    It can. If you have too much going on so that your ram is being filled up then you could see a drop in fps. Still, if your friend doesn't have issues with the same amount of ram, then that's probably not it unless you have a lot more running in the background of your computer that they do....

    In direct relation to FFXIV though, my input is purely speculation based on my general computer knowledge, as I'm a PS4 player myself......

    inside fc house i get 99% gpu load with hundreds fps if not locked though. it only happens in crowded places such as towns and S rank hunts.

    ok thanks, i'll take note on the ram. i think i can use my brother's pc ram and add them to mine hope it works and see if it improves something.
