no, i want to believe hence why i make this thread. your previous screenshots didnt tell the whole story, but now they do. u cant just assume everyone is on the same setting as yours can u?
now that we're at it, tell us how did u get that fps?
sure my fps is at the lower end, but everyone else except you are nowhere close to 60 either.
iirc your spec is i7 4790k with gtx 980?

So I did some comparisons with my system to see if could gather some more info on what the issue might be. I manually set my CPU to 3.2Ghz and disabled turbo so that it will act as a weaker version of your CPU.
@ 3.2Ghz - 33 FPS Looking accross market - 1440p
@ 3.2Ghz - 33 FPS Looking accross market - 720p
@ 3.2Ghz - 58 FPS Looking accross market - 1440p with LOD/LOD Shadows and Occlusion Culling off

Then a comparison with my CPU at stock settings

This is purely a GPU/API limitation in the number of simultaneous characters that can be rendered if you see a lot higher performance disabling those settings.

You should do a comparison against my system with the LOD and LOD Shadows (under the Shadows settings) and Occlusion Culling Off. Theoretically you should then have higher FPS than me due to higher raw GPU power when not being bottlenecked by character rendering.

@Judge_Xero: okay, just tried it, only 15fps increase at most, not as big improvement as yours though. but i dont like the picture with that setting so i'll just keep it at max for now.
so both cpu and gpu change dont affect it, ok time to give up and take it as it is
i know it sounds silly, but internet connection quality doesnt affect it right? xD

The only other instance I have seen then where another user had the same issue was where they were only using one stick of ram.
It should be noted that even if you are running two sticks, if they arent in the right slots it will still only run in single channel.
That's the only other thing I can think of. But you are definitely getting less performance than you should.

@Luna - Nice.
I think I will play around with higher Ram frequencies to see if I get better performance as well.
Maybe the character rendering is system memory bandwidth limited and not the API at all.
Or maybe it just takes higher bandwidth to collect the character info and to feed the GPU that info.
(Your Ram @ 2666 Mhz is 65% faster than mine and you FPS is about the same. You normally don't have that sort of scaling with Ram unless there is a bottleneck)
