in many games, ps3 cant uses voice chat for limitations of the ps3 system
FFXIV in ps3 receive nerf in graphics for obvious reason
ps3 is a coin
ps3 could save ffxiv for dissaster release
ps3 could kill ffxiv for limitations

Wow, how did a thread like this end up with so many pages? It's just a bunch of bickering about console vs pc

oops forgot i wasnt supposed to respond to this thread anymore cause its a stupid topic... my bad
Personally when I get the game for PS3 I will play it on there over my PC. Even though I can run this game on Highest settings on my PC and the PS3 will only get 720p doesn't bother me one bit. Currently I don't even have 1080p TV and play most games on 720p and they looks absolutely amazing. Even when I turn this game down to low settings and a lower resolution this game still looks amazing. The 720p on the PS3 isn't going to be that big of a difference unless you are just a graphic buff like some. Most people who buy the game for PS3 are going to be blown away because it is the best looking MMORPG on the market and will be the best looking by far MMO on console.
What you just post was one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever read. At no point in your rambling incoherent post where you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having reading this thread. I reward you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.As a result of the recent announced changes to the leve system, I have concluded that this change was made specifically to cater to the console system audience. Why? Because console players in my view, have a different mentality than PC MMOers. Most people I personally know that play console games, don't sit down and play them for long periods of time. Couple of hours, couple of hours there. The changes to the system support a solocentric, login, have something to do, logout mentality. One where you never have to really "get involved" with the persistent world.
Its unfortunate.
I would love to see a FF MMO title developed solely with a PC MMO audience in mind. My guess is the end result would be a much better game.

I was going to quote Billy Madison but thought that was a little too far. I mean this is just an opinion at the end of the day.
I'm totally going to look up that scene on youtube now though.

Console have killed pc gaming !!!
Oh wait...

How does it kill it when it's not even being spoken of lol..As a result of the recent announced changes to the leve system, I have concluded that this change was made specifically to cater to the console system audience. They are only working for us on pc gamers atm.. when they perfect the game on pc... THEN the ps3 will come out. :-)
I must say with only glancing at the title of this thread, this may be the last time I post on these forums. Just after reading less than a page of posts, realized that you guys are the worst of the community, an eye sore.As a result of the recent announced changes to the leve system, I have concluded that this change was made specifically to cater to the console system audience. ffxi was massive and it was developed for the ps2 in the first place. And it was doin well for quite a long time. A lot of companies cater to both systems now.As a result of the recent announced changes to the leve system, I have concluded that this change was made specifically to cater to the console system audience. The problem is, that SE doesn't do it very good imho (but more on the hardware side, the content side has nothing to do with console or pc gamers i guess)
