How many new skills...and new crossbar...?

I didn't see the entire live stream. so I wanted to know if they mentioned how many new skills and traits are the existing jobs getting? I;m assuming 5 new skills and 5 new traits.

2.) Did they say anything about new cross bar or cross bar switching to make it easier with the new skills coming.

They didn't specify a number for new skills or traits and they didn't show the new cross bar switching, or at least didn't talk about it.

I'm a little it confused by the wording of your post, and while I didn't watch the stream, I will reply as best I can....

    1) If you mean 5 new skills and traits for each existing class, then I sincerely doubt that is going to happen. You would be unlocking a trait or skill every level, which is not how things are done in game. If it was, then you'd have 25 base skills and 25 base traits for each class as is. I suspect it'll be closer to 2-3 traits and 2-3 skills per class if that many....

    2) From what I understand from past discussion on the matter, there is no plan to change the way the hotbars work. One of the ideas behind adding new abilities to the game is that people will have to choose which skills, items, and general abilities they have on their hotbars more carefully, rather than simply having everything at easy access as it currently is. That being said, there's also no need for a new hotbar system, since you already have eight separate ones to choose from that you can easily switch to and from, particularly if you're on the PS4/PS3 (which given that you said cross bar makes me believe you are), as you simply have to hold one button and press another to instantly switch between all your hot bars, or simply press said button repeatedly to cycle through them if you're playing as anything outside of the Arcanist family.....

Well they already showed that BLM will get 5 new skills (Fire IV, BlizzIV, and 3 new cooldowns)
WAR is probably getting another 5 skills with the new DPS stance skill, the 100% parry skill, and most likely at least 2-3 skills to consume the new Abadon stacks.
It's very reasonable to think that each job will get 3-5 new skills.
And just as many new traits.

Either that, or Abadon stacks can be used on the current Wrath skills from Warrior and they simply change the bonus/effects of them.

If I'm correct it was said in the livestream that you could switch between both stances and gain stacks of each, so you could have 5 wrath AND 5 Abadon. If thats right then either A.) Can't use Abadon stacks on current Wrath skills, or B.) Abadon can be used, but does a different effect (either based on what stance you are in, or possibly combining both at once.)

The way they said it, when switching stances, your Abadon stacks become Wrath stacks and viceversa. Based on the fact classes might get 5 skills and what we've seen with Warrior, then they would only have 1 attack with Abadon stacks.

That's why I say it will most likely use the same Wrath skills but the effect with Abadon stacks will change their power/extra effect.

Those are the CLASS skills. You're forgetting about the JOB skills you're likely to get on levels 55 and 60, through completion of the job quests.

In Hw You won't get skills and traits at every even or number anymore. Thats why I was asking for the amount of new skills/ traits.
