    Arise Dragoon, Arise!

(had to counter the RIP posts SOMEHOW)

So far it looks like just from a simple addition, that Dragoon is going to get a lot more tactical. Emphasizing on even heavier hitting combos and expending the use of our 4th move to get in a heavy hit.

I personally feel the addition will really feel right with Dragoon and only add to the fun. Really does emphasize on burst damage and solidifies the role of Dragoon.

Not gonna save the mass of floor eaters, but the rest of us will profit well from the change!

From what I seen today they didn't fix the biggest issue with dragoon which was raid utility. A drg only buffs the bards damage with the piercing debuff which doesn't amount for much. While a monk has dragon kick which lowers the bosses int making them do about 10% less magic damage (very important for progression), and ninja can trick attack giving 10% increased damage to the whole group whenever it is up. Raid groups will still want a MNK and NIN for their 2 melee spots.

DRG scene on video is the only one that can kill monster so people can think "Oh DRG become powerful now yay!"

Depends on how much overlap Machinist and Bard have. If running with both has synergy DRG/BRD/MCH/Any other DpS might be viable.

How can you know that already? I have only see the New Job Action Videos where they show physicaly the new skills - what dmg they do or if they come with any additional Debuff we dont know yet.

BRD and BLM are going to pick that up in 3.0, standing still to get their bonuses

I was dreaming of major buffs for dragoon; they have no defensive, and utility in general. So it's kinda hard to work around a DPS that does as much numbers as Monk, but doesn't have Dragon Kick; does as much numbers as Ninja but doesn't have Goad, Trick Attack.

IMHO, Dragoon should('ve) be uncontested top dps since all they got is Disembowel to give to the party's Bard which doesn't makes a difference when compared to Slash resist of a Ninjas+Paladin+Warrior.
    I'm Looking forward to it!
