IMHO, Dragoon should('ve) be uncontested top dps since all they got is Disembowel to give to the party's Bard which doesn't makes a difference when compared to Slash resist of a Ninjas+Paladin+Warrior.

By my understanding using the slash resist chain on Ninja as opposed to the Warrior doing it is actually frowned upon due to the fact that it harms the Ninja's DPS worse than it would hurt the Warrior's. But, it's been a while since I've raided and paid attention to raid things so I may be wrong.


This buff system intrigues me. I will be looking forward to see how it all meshes together.

I'm honestly surprised no one has thought about the fact that the range of abilities shown is only the active bonuses for 51-60.

TRAITS! Traits can expand a multitude of moves and we have little information on the effect of the 4th combo attack. It may very well add a magic defense debuff or slashing debuff. Speculation can now recommence!

I was hoping for a variety of new jumps for Drg honestly though, always useful for jumping away from danger(derps jump into it). Survivability is supposed to be a strength of dragoon, only 1% of us know how to use it though.

I don't think that's all to our new abilities as drg. If you look at other classes they are talking about 3 or 4 new skills. Drg had 2 mentioned. People are getting too worked up claiming things as op or a dead class.
