I feel that it is silly to complain about positionals and consider it a 'nerf' when you don't know about the skill descriptions in the first place. What if the potency is the same for every single ability without said positional and all skills that do get a positional get a potency increase for fulfilling that requirement? Is that still 'RIP Ninja'?

Don't just assume that a class getting another requirement is going to be a 'nerf' when the requirement can be a buff. Because quite frankly, Ninjas do not have nearly enough worries to justify their current DPS when played optimally in 2.5. They never had.

Still, the main issue that a ninja has aside from Mudra lag is that it brings nothing to the table other melee have or do not do better. It used to with their low TP costs but they don't have that anymore, so now what? Hopefully the changes either fix the TP issue, or give..something, anything that makes Ninjas stand out from Dragoon or Monk.

And I sure hope they don't consider Goad and the new aggro decrease ability to be enough. Goad just became a bit less useful with MNKs getting the ability to recover their own TP, and aggro should never be a problem in the first place. Not to mention that they still aren't giving us visible party TP bars.

The only thing I can imagine Goad being useful for now is WAR or BRD AoEing. Though with WAR getting a DPS stance it might prove useful yet...

Considering how much they're altering rotations of pretty much every class, the only assumption that can be made is that the devs are probably revisiting TP usage. But if they don't, and the war dps stance is similar to its tanking right now, it won't need any goad at all in 99% of all fights.
