If you are playing Ninja and you are not dancing already, you are doing it wrong.

Care to elaborate, perhaps? Currently, as long as the boss mechanics allow it, there's no reason to stay at a target's rear 100% of the time. If it's not to dodge AoE, a NIN never has to position themselves any differently.

I am confused by your comment/question here. My comment was more a joke then anything so perhaps that didn't convey well over the interwebs. On a serious note, ninjas should be ready to move at all times, especially to avoid AoEs, to place Dotons (gotta throw up that dodge skill) and get the hell outta the way of incoming AoEs after Dotons have been placed.
