Error 2002

Hello,
Today I started getting the 2002 error when trying to load the game. Everything else seems to be working fine, I can log in to WoW, Rift, etc. but not Final Fantasy. I can occasionally get by the data center connection screen and enter the world with my character, but once that loads I can't cast any spells and after a few minutes I get error 90002 and have to start the battle with the 2002 error again.
I'm not sure what info you guys would need. My ISP is Eastlink, I'm in Nova Scotia, and it is happening on both household computers, one wired and the other wireless.
I was able to play just fine yesterday, it seems like my issues started with the patch today.

Thank you for posting this...I have the same problem today, and as it turns out, I'm also with Eastlink in Nova Scotia...I'm thinking it must be an ISP problem even though no other games or internet services appear affected. Can a patch affect compatibility with an ISP?

I'm not sure if it can or not, but I know it's far from my first problem with Eastlink so it wouldn't surprise me if the issue lies with them. It's just weird that everything else is running fine. But both of us from the same area with the same ISP having the exact same issue can't be just a coincidence, can it? Ugh what a pain. I just want to play lol

Same here...and seeing as how nobody else is posting problems, I think we are the only group affected...Not sure if this will fix itself or if something needs to be done.

Having the same issue, except I've never had problems before with connecting with Eastlink and we've had it as our ISP for a few years. It's just both of the NA data center's I can't seem to connect to, every other one I can connect to.

I just contacted Eastlink on twitter and they got in touch with their tech support who said that there is currently a service interruption affecting the area and causing slow internet speeds and connection issues.

I just made a phone call to Eastlink and there is a recording about a problem they are having with 'slow internet in Nova Scotia'...my internet appears to be working fine, and I'm getting 40mb/sec, but still can't connect/stay connected...I'm assuming our problem is related to this. The recording says they are working on the problem.

Eastlink/Nova Scotia User here too, been having the same problems all afternoon.
Not sure if it's the cause but looking at the outage map for Eastlink, there's a nice big yellow circle almost all over Nova Scotia.

Thanks for the link, I have it bookmarked now for next time I start having issues. I feel a lot better now though, knowing that it isn't just me. Hopefully the issue gets cleared up soon. I was hoping to unlock the white mage tonight.
