So about that Glamour Log...

As per the usual parading around of concept art, we were presented with a good amount of new outfit options. I was left wondering where they expect us to store all of these new items. I'm hoping they have something planned, like some sort of Glamour Log, to record the pieces we've collected for glamours. Otherwise, I suppose the appropriate phrase is "RIP Inventory."

Should change your title post to RIP Inventory to match the others xD lol but it is a good question. Not only are we going to have 3 new jobs and all that gear but now we are going to have new materials and items on top of it all too.

Before the patch, there was a thread somebody wrote about how crappy the UI is, that it's like a nagging girl friend asking the same questions over and over again.. The thread got mysteriously deleted within an hour

It's absurd how much policing goes on in the forums when it's not in praise of SE.. If they had half the number of GMs than they have forum moderators...

I don't really have a better alternative to the inventory problems as I have only played a few MMOs. Knowing some alternatives would be nice.

Most recent one I've dealt with was Blade and Soul's "Wardrobe." This image filename was originally "mobile closet" which is a very good description of it. It's basically an invisible pocket organizer you can toss your costumes into for storage, and can use to preview other costumes to see if you'd like them or not. It even has sorting and search features. We'd have to go with more of an actual "log" type of tracker where it checks a box after we equip the item, since Blade and Soul's costumes are single piece excluding head accessories. FFXIV has way too many armor components to use a direct port of this system.
