Kinda weird that I always see it associated as FF6. First time I played it, it was FF3. I'll always remember it as final Fantasy 3 before Final Fantasy 6

So why does it, EVEN NOW, sound more epic than anything I've heard in a video game in the last 10 years?

Let this be a lesson to all these video game companies. It doesn't take an enormous orchestra or a million electric guitars or a giant bass drum to make something sound amazing, it doesn't even require real instruments, it just takes a damned good composer!!!!
