Ummmm... if you crit adloqium the initial heal is gonna be more than the non-crit heal of 1200, that why I projected it would be 1800 (quick guess). 1800 x 2 = 3600 (shield). 1800+3600 = 5400. Get it?I am not sure I grasp your reasoning there.
Assuming that the Crit proc of Adlo also applies when Emergency is active (and this is still not confirmed), it will be 1200 heal + 2400 heal (conversion double shield). That is 3600. Not sure where your 5400 comes from.
I would take a 3600 shield over a 3600 heal ANY day. There is no situation where a heal is better than a shield, unless there will be mechanics which ignore shields. In that case, lol, f**k scholar.

But think of certain situations where you need to top up a tank at low hp. Say the whm is busy casting medica 2 (long cast) and the tank drops very quickly. Oh shit you have no aetherflow stacks left! Boom emergency tactics adloquium = Nice big heal! No overhealing if he actually needs the health. It's very situational but I like the concept.
Who knows how it will come in handy. but its all speculation at this point. Maybe its a lot better than what the non-player translator made it seem to be.

Your using and relying on Lustrate too much, its not very good to spam it because you will need it if the tank gets low HP.But think of certain situations where you need to top up a tank at low hp. I get that.
My question still stands - why?
Why is it better for the tank to have more health rather than less health but shield, for the same total amount?

From the looks of things:
WHM is going to excel even further in burst and regen healing than it currently does, especially with basically getting Sacred Prism and its own Lustrate-style instant mini-benediction
SCH is going to remain a powerful shield healer, but is getting some more tools to assist the cases where it needs AoE/Burst healing
AST will be capable of functioning similarly to either. Probably slightly less effective than either in their strong areas, but capable of providing some alternative party buffs

I don't really understand the scholar moves. Ok?
I won't sacrifice my pet, unless its a full heal to everyone and I don't think it will be.
I won't use the adlo buff much because I barely use adlo anyways. WHMs are much better with Cure II. I would rather just switch to WHM.
A heal stance? I hope not. I already have to dance my stances with the DPS stance, now I have to switch stances and go to a healing stance to heal? The hardest healing class has it even harder.
It would of been MUCH better if it was for Succor and not Adlo, that would of been an amazing buff.

I'm sorry, no one ever mentioned scholar was getting a new heal stance. Where are you getting that from?

You might have been thinking of astrologian. They are getting a healing stance and a barrier stance.

WHMs OP. Who needs a SCH or AST when WHMs can power heal through all progression? lol #joking...sortof
I don't think AST sounds OP... the RNG to the class isn't very... appealing to me. I'll have to try it out to really judge the class, of course. I'm hoping there's never going to be a point where the AST's RNG-ness causes a wipe because of x, y and z.
