Here's the mandatory WoW comparison chart for those who think you can't add egis to the game as is:

Tank Pet - Voidwalker (WoW) - Titan-egi (FFXIV)
Melee DPS Pet - Fel Guard (WoW) - Ifrit-egi (FFXIV)
Caster DPS Pet - Imp (WoW) - Garuda-egi (FFXIV)
Crowd Control Pet - Succubus (WoW)
Debuffer/DPS Pet - Fel Hunter (WoW)
AoE/Damage Aura Pet - Infernal (WoW)

Ideas
Titan= Tank egi
Ifrit= Melee Egi
Garuda= Nuker egi (increase DoT duration) / Need better look
Ramuh= DoT Egi (add an extra DoT u can Bane)
Shiva= Ranged Egi (bow) + Bind (freeze) stuff and apllly heavy
Levi= AoE egi (place water pool) for big pulls

+Give SMN a Swiftcast only to change egis
"Tri-Bind" still suck if they dont reduce mp cost/casting/increase power at least to Blizzard II level
"new tri-dissaster" still suck if only apply the 3 DoT by sacrifice 1 fester/ bane

Is easy to make every pet usefull and valuable part of the team. Dunno why SE cant see it
