You don't see it but if you zoom out and put the camera overhead you actually see Buhumut summoned and he does Akh Morn.

Unfortunately, this game doesn't cater to letting your pet do all of the work for you. A FFXI style pet job does not work with how this game is designed to be played.

Summoner isn't just a pet job. It channels the power of Primals into a form known as an Egi, sure, but the Dreadwyrm Trance is another method by which one can channel a Primal's power. Just because Summoner isn't fitting into the niche of "pet job" you want doesn't mean it's wrong for SE to make the job more about the caster.

Dude SMN are about Summons, they supose to be our MAIN way to do DPS. "Channels the power of Primals" tru our EGIS not just trowing stupid pillars of ligths nukes.... thats what mages/nukers/healers does (Conjurer channels the power of nature and BLM the void) not SMN

SMN are NOT nukers-DOTs based jobs on ANY MMO, even more in FF universe the SMN main and only way to do DPS is summoning stuff.
