ironworks vs dreadwyrm

Hello. I was just wondering what is the best healing set for my sch? I was doing a little comparison between ironworks healing gear and dreadwyrm healing gear and to me I think ironworks set is better then dreadwyrm, but alot of people are saying dreadwyrm is the best gear in game. is there something am not seeing ?

Mix and match.

Some slots dreadwyrm is better and in some slots upgraded ironworks is better. It's this way for every job. You don't need to be running in complete sets.

What Dement said, if you want to achieve optimum stats and don't have the money or desire to farm gil to go the crafted route, mixing and matching dread / ironworks is the way to go.

Just make sure you glamor yourself up so you don't look like a clown with all that mismatched gear lol.

For a bard chestpiece.... yes. But you'll be hard pressed to find another example. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Less than one month to Heavensward, i wouldn't recommand anyone to buy any upgrade stuff, as you're probably gonna get some from the new expansion for free at higher level.

Archer hat, lancer body, lancer legs and that's the Demon's pieces I can think of off the top of my head. And on my lancer I'm using the Soldiery arms. Heck, all I need on lancer is a True Ice Bracelet to hit iL123 with 565 accuracy and still have over 620 strength and 590 crit. Again, iL is a terrible metric and shouldn't be taken at face value.

Ironworks head, dreadwyrm body, ironworks hands, ironworks belt, dreadwyrm pants, ironworks shoes, ironworks neck, dreadwyrm earrings, ironworks bracelets, dreadwyrm ring, ironworks ring. This is what I use plus zeta weapon.

For a SCH, you're generally looking for MND > Crit > Det > else.
