    I want to stop moving the position of the characters rapidly during the attack itself. Embedding in a moving, sometimes spinning the camera and the enemy
    The enemy or opponent in order to jump over the characters jump into the attacking player moves, bad feelings to the camera back and forth.

    It is currently being considered for player movement. We will support in the near future.
    For a while, I wanted to make a topic like this to find out if anyone else has this issue besides m, but I couldn't put in into words. I tried to google the description of the problem, and this is the best I can do. That quote up here is a text translated from an interview of one of the FFXIV devs. Anyway...

    When you're fighting mobs (usually little ones that have a jumping attack), every now and then, it looks like it jumps over you (not sure if it's intended to), and it causes the camera to spin really fast. After fighting thousands of marmots, I think it's starting to take its toll. My head is constantly spinning! It's at a point where playing as a DoW/DoM is making me nauseous. It looks like they're going to fix this eventually, but I hope they fix this soon; otherwise, I'm going to spend a long, long, long time chopping wood.

    So do you guys have this dizziness, too? Or is it just me?

    I've never had this problem.

    Sounds like some bizarre issue with...I don't even know what could be causing something like that.

    Happens all the time especially if you're very close to the enemy. It is especially annoying.

    But it's not the jumping, more like the monster moved 1 step to far and stand in you -> the camera spin -> the monster move 1 step back -> camera spin again

    Maybe SE should bring back the collision check for monsters in combat

    Isn't there an option in the camera settings to stop the games camera locking on enemies during combat?

    If there is, you could use that to stop the whole "you spin me right round right round like a marmot baby right round round round" syndrome.

    However that also means the pesky rodents may run under your camera view and then you'll have no idea if you're infront of it or standing on it's tail.

    I have a similar problem: the targeting cursor moves with where the enemy is during the animation, and not where it "physically is" when it's standing still, if you get what I mean. It throws off targeting a lot since it's based on where things are positioned on screen from left to right. I'd imagine making it so the camera and target cursor focused on where the enemy "physically was" it would fix both issues.

    I haven't ever noticed this, actually. But perhaps that's because I don't lock onto target.

    I made a thread about this awhile ago. I notice it mostly with squid type mobs, they have a sort of lunge attack that carries them well passed the character position causing all sorts of fun camera snafus...

    Glad I'm not the only one who's noticed.

    If they could stop my characters head spinning 360 degrees whenever they decide to jump through me, it'd be a start.
