1: completed "A relic Reborn: The Hydra" this is part 6 of the quest chain.
2: Handed quest into Garolt
3: I then got quest to - Locate the broken quest weapon from the Beastmen Strongholds. The location is dependent on your specific job. Then report back to Gerolt again. - This is part 2 of the quest chain.

I really done want to do the whole quest chain again. Any help to get back to the next quest I need to do after defeating the Hydra would be great. thank you.

are you sure it reset and you didn't accidentally abandoned the quest? Also if you go back to him, does he have a quest for you? which?

Hi Voltron,

yep I'm 100% on it. when I handed the unfinished weapon back to quest giver after defeating Hydra, he then told me to locate the broken quest weapon from the Beastmen Strongholds again, I did this not thinking anything was wrong. once I did this I then had to get Madman's Whispering Rod with 2 Quicktongue Materia III fused to it. when I got this quest I googled the quest line and found out it had reset back to start for some reason.

the quest has the same name as before so I know its the same quest line too. and I still have unfinished Thyrus in my armory.
