Because of alot of us, more then you know, don't have a screaming 1 gig download speed and it actually will take a full day maybe two to download it. And no alot of us don't have any other options for isp's...and no we're not moving.

I don't know if you've played any other MMO before, but the expansion pack content is downloaded regardless if you've purchased the expansion or not. Everyone gets access to the patch at the same time.

Just to clarify this: you will have to patch the expansion to your client whether you bought it or not as you will need those files to be able to see and interact with any players that are using the new race, jobs, equipment or skills, among other things.

When you buy the expansion you are just granting yourself access to that content; you will have it patched in regardless.

The only question at present is the DX11 client, which they've stated will be an entirely separate client... no one has any clue when that will be released yet, though hopefully a week or so prior to launch.
