Looking to move server (from Moogle EU) need some advice please.

Time and time again I am encountering situations where I question why I even play this game anymore. Any potential enjoyment is immediately sucked away after playing even a single piece of instanced content. The amount of abuse, trolling, lying, AFKing that takes place inside Duty Finder content aswell as Party Finder teams is really getting to me. I want to move to a server that has a nice community where people actually help each other, where people actually play their roles and work hard in content. I want to join an active FC that is about playing together, and not just for Raiding. I've made many forum posts over my playtime complaining about the community and I'm often met with people disagreeing. I feel like the reason those people do disagree, is because the community on Moogle is really bad compared to most other servers. I want to enjoy the game, not be depressed by it.

Sorry to hear things aren't going so well on Moogle. I would have suggested Coeurl if you were looking for a NA server as there are a lot of friendly people willing to help others. Hope you find what you're looking for.

I was on Cactuar a bit and absolutely hated it. I wasn't happy with the people at all..
I absolutely love Leviathan and the FC I ended up with. I highly recommend Levi if you can get in it.

the problem with that is he is looking for EU servers and leviathan is a NA server last time I check.

Euh, changing server won't change who you meet in DF, you'll still be playing in the same Chaos Data Center as you are now.

Don't want to deal with the trolls, AFK'ers and all them you just describe... Transfer to the Japanese data centers. Other than that, you still be dealing with the same stuff regardless of which NA/EU server/data center you transfer to.

I've seen a lot of posts about discrimination and abuse of Japanese toward western players. As soon as they see E as system language they kick you from any PF, or don't heal you in DF etc. All PF there are 'JP ONLY'.

Please, they aren't so narrow-minded. If a PF states 'JP Only', you can still join provided you have the ability to communicate with them. Here's a typical example of what happened in a T13 JP greed party on PF I joined recently.

*English player joins*
Host: 希望どうぞ (What item do you wish to roll on)
E player after 3mins: 剣です (Sword)
Host: すみません、剣は空いていません (I'm sorry but the sword is not available) - Someone had opt for the sword earlier.
Host: 他の武器はどう？ (How about choosing another weapon)
E player after another 5mins: 剣 (Sword)

At this point it's fairly obvious that this E player has very little JP ability. The host had no choice but to kick him because he was essentially holding up 7 other people. Not to mention that he wouldn't be able to understand a single word of the 説明マクロ (explanation macros, positioning) for T13.

Of the 19 months that I've been on Tonberry, I've never been kicked just based solely on the fact that I'm an E player. I've also never heard of JP players not healing E players in DF. They aren't little petty children for god's sake. If you join a JP server, at least make it a point to either learn the basics of the language or make an effort to communicate via auto translate.
