When/Why did you vote kick?

My last vote kick was a BLM who, after telling another BLM to pass the casting hat because they wanted it, lost the roll and responded in alliance chat with 'F--- you b----' and 'S--- my d--- you c---' to the person who won calling them out by name. People were like 'if you're so unhappy about it you can always leave' so they said 'right and wait 30 min you dumba--' and said they were going to stand there and do nothing until they got kicked. Of course I had already initiated the kick vote after the first two things the said. Looked up their character profile, turns out they were actually from my server though I didn't recognize them as I have display names turned off by default. Funny thing is, they have not been back online in the game in the week and a half since this happened.

I wonder why that is.

- Kicked a SMN only spamming Ruin throughout every fight in ST hoping for a lazy carry, then decided to hang out in the Amon room hoping nobody would notice. Managed to kick her before the fight started so she has to do it all over again.

- Kicked another SMN from Qarn pulling before everyone even when the tank asked him not to. He proceeded to call him a bad tank and pulled out Titan before continuing to pull everything and badmouthing the tank. Kicked him before the last boss.

- Kicked people who were DCed / Offline

- Kicked a MNK on Ultima HM for not even trying to dodge AoE or help with mechanics.

Probably a few more but those are the most memorable

-Kicked someone who was d/ced like 10 minutes. Found out later their power was cut off. (Ended up in another group with them again lol!)

-Kicked someone who was being a douche bag to a new player - It was actually two people/ had to report. Healer and Brd. They stood by the entrance refusing to do a dungeon with "new player" (green bud next to name).

-Kicked someone who asked to be kicked for rl issues.

-Kicked someone who asked to be kicked because they had to repair.

-Other reasons are mostly trollers

-Kicked an obvious bot.

It was LNC once, in Toto-Rak. Obviously, this guy just straight up rude.

The tank has the newbie notice, so I thought we should do it slow.

The LNC proceeded to cross class Flash and start pulling. Tank can't pull off agro.

Got rid of him before the second boss. Why? Because he was rude and inconsiderate. And arrogant as fk.

My parents call me all the time... since it's not on the phone I have to get up and see what they want. Usually I'll ask them how important it is...sometimes you just gotta say "brb, being called" and suck it up if they kick you.

Don't let in-game stuff interfere with real life, especially if it's important enough.

Did my first vote kick today (and yes, I'm a newbie ). Had this guy just plain old go off on the healer for snagging a piece of loot on 'need' instead of 'greed'. Now, to be fair, the healer said they were sorry pretty much immediately. The way the other DPS went off on him was unreal. The tank and I pretty much told the DPS to calm down and he did. Then...he started off on the tank for wiping in a boss battle. Then started on the healer again. Then started on the tank. Not sure how I got away with it, but I guess there's only so much havoc I can cause sticking MOBs in the behind with a pointy stick. >.>

So we kicked him for being an elitist so and so. Not the first time I've seen this and won't be the last time but just wish people had more patience. Everyone makes mistakes, but oh well. *shrug*

Only kicked people for afk and offline, when it is for offline I usualy wait some mins giving them a chance to get back online.
I have however had one time when a player asked to get kicked but we refused to, well reason for the refusal was that in the middle of the first pull this player for no reason started insulting everyone being rather rude and using language that can be seen as harassment followed by asking to get kicked, so we said no telling said player that we would rather see him get them 30mins. Short story we sat the time out with this player hurling insults left and right, then report time with a bunch of evidece of what said player had said. Personally if I run into one of those community poisoning players I don't kick, instead I let them dig themselves a bit deeper and report them, a warning or even a short ban will hopefully teach them to act properly.

Only really kicked douchebags. And one crazy ninja who kept running into rooms of mobs dropping Katon everywhere for no real reason and then dying.
