Yet they've added content to the game when they haven't even figured out the battle system. They've added new equipment despite the fact that the current stat system is completely broken and renders most of that equipment as unnecessary.

Well they've got to add little bits here and there whilst they're fixing the game to keep stuff flowing, otherwise we'd all be sitting with literally nothing to do when we got to the end.
