A demand, not a suggestion, not a petition. Inventory trilogy!

Hello this is going to be one of those posts that gets alot of bad attention and possibly even a removal from Mods. The title alone will make a few mad but its entirely accurate. First off, ok we get it, Square Enix isnt giving us a mail box system b/c supposely they think it'll hinder RMT's ability to exist. This "Fallacy" or incoherent presumption that Mail system will help RMTs is pretty lame and old fashioned. Besides the obvious point i just stated, I have a "demand" of an immediate alternative.

First off:
Increase the trade window amount, 4 is simply not enough if almost an insult to the crafting community. EVEN 8 trade slots per side would make a significant difference. my "demand"? Make it 10. Take it from someone who has multiple characters on multiple accounts that myself and my girlfriend own. Why is besides the point. We like variety.

Secondly:
Make retainers more accessible. Allow us to make shortcuts of retainers on our bar, our macros, our menu, whatever the case may be. However keep the same requirements for summoning them. If "Summon Retainer" box works, all the above should work. Here's my reasoning, trading between 2 retainers or multiple characters is already a pain in the arse, why be limited by how we pull the retainer up. Make a 1 click exit button on the exchange window and instead of going back to menu, allow it to go back to retainer selection. Lil stuff like this is all i ask to make trading between characters / accounts not seem like a chore.

In closing, if SE refuses to add simple stuff like extra trade slots or a shortcut to retainers then i suppose me paying for 2 accounts with 4 characters each is a big hell no. Not to mention, the current linkshell bank account that i started from a buddy pass key. The 3rd account would only be used if i deemed absolute need for it, however 8 character banks on a 3rd account and a pain in arse trading / non mailbox system is an absolute cancel when game goes pay to play without hesitation. So my question to SE is..

How much do you like me paying for 16 characters on 3 accounts?

so you are angry bcus you spent a bunch of money and time making something you knew (assuming you've played the game before making all these accounts) would be a hindrance to you and are now blaming them?

Good points, but honestly we don't care how many accounts/characters you are paying for. Square does need to change the way inventory, and retainers work. It's a most definite, we should be seeing improvements over the next few months so sit tight.

I guess it should be ok to return to your Retainers Selection, but more when you call them from a bell. In a ward it's not that useful if the sole reason to do it is to transfer things from one retainer to another; you can do it pretty easily to a bell.

I'm fine with the trading, it's not a bother to transfer 8 things.
If you want to transfer 30 things (hell... you must be moving or something...) then yes, that might be a problem. Let's see what they want to do with this.

Also... really, why not having only one account? Less money to spend and one character has like 330 places to storage. You can't bad-manage 330 slots!

My only thing i say to that, in Eve, in UO, in god forbid even guild wars, i dont bitch about invo management. Eve has the best economy and inventory system of all MMOs, just has the worse arseholes u could ever expect to be playing with. I am a linkshell leader and the idea of a linkshell account for mass hoarding is reasoning behind the 3rd account. I wont be payin for it myself entirely. and oh like i stated, the 2nd account is my girlfriends....

Still though, what's with this third account, you do a lot of characters and get them in a linkshell so they can keep your goodies?

its just a hoarder account yes... 600 nether newts and 300 crimson crayfish just sitting there, probably more. thats just 1 example. some of the chars on 3rd account are full in at least 1 retainer. 1.19 will help with that tremendously. but dropping all junk items on 3rd account is a god send. 1 char for each DoH as well. just convience, but the trade window and 30seconds it takes to get to exchange window is the issue. i will try 1 alternative to retainer trading... i'm going to summon all my retainers in limsa grocers ward.. that'll help big time lol. limsa aetheryte, leve npcs and market ward are so close.

You give me the "i farm gil so i need a lot of accounts to make money illegaly.." no offense..
But your post could have been more polite.
SE is working hard to get the game sorted give them time.
I don't see you making games fast and perfect either..

8 Slots in trade would be nice but it's not really needed that hard.

Well, if there's something you don't need you can try with these things:

• Sell it
• NPC it
• Synthesize it
• Trash it

I don't think you'll ever need 300 Crimson Crayfishes anyway, unless you want to cook them 'til death do you and the game apart =D

Or is there a reason on keeping those items forever?
