Cross-Class Glamour?

Do you think it would be cool if we could cross-class clothing and such from other classes?

Then again, i'm a SCH and most SCH gear looks meh compared to BLM, Others gear choices. I just wish we could use their sets as appearance.

I don't really see a point in restricting it, its not like I can't put on a piece of armor or cloth I found, and I will always have a scholar weapon so people know i'm a scholar.

No, I'd rather they not do this at all. The reasons have been explained by SE themselves, and the millions of other threads that are made about this.

They can already wear Mage Robes and Pointy Wizard hats.
Tanks have access to the most equipment in the game as far as glamour goes, while mages have extremely limited access to things to use for glamour.
I made the below tanks have a huge selection of things they can use for glamour, total numer of body gear was 354 while mages could only wear like 240.
Also even though I didn't include it it also reflects headgear, pants , gloves, boots as well.

I agree, the amount of clothes a mage can wear is dangerously low.

1. Tank Glamours a Custom Made Robe of Casting and Hempen Hat
   Perfectly Acceptable 10/10 tank
   
   
2. Mage Glamours a Hempen Tunic
   Mass Confusion, Lalafells are crying, players are quiting, Immersion is broken!

Tunics and Tabards or Leather Armor that can be worn by Mages
None

Chain Mail that can be worn by Mages
None

Plate/Scale Mail that can be worn by Mages
Light Steel Galerus (Reskin of Disciple of war gear)

Heavy Armor that can be worn by Mages

A simple solution to this is to make more of the 'DoW' and 'DoM' gear 'All Classes' as they probably should've been from the start.

I can agree that I'd love to wear certain things that I cannot as a caster, for example I would love to be able to wear my Felt Kecks without having to be on a War class. But to make specific piece of gear such as end game stuff, raid gear, or job specific gear cross class glamorable, hell no. A lot of the 1 - 59 things such as the Disciple of War/Magic things though, sure.

And as has also been explained in the millions of other threads the reasons for not doing it are dumb.

I said Blackmage robes and hat. It's a hell lot more distinct than a generic cowl/robe. I'm all for tanks wearing cloth or whatever, but not wearing gear thats iconic to the job that some people are pushing for.
