Just progress with your main story, eventually, you'll get your chocobo.

It should come right after the main story allows you to choose your grand company.

As soon as the main story has you join a Grand Company, there will be a sidequest available at your Grand Company headquarters called "My Little Chocobo". Take that quest. It will issue you a chocobo in exchange for 2,000 Grand Company Seals (which you can start earning once you join the GC).

GC Seals can be earned a wide variety of ways: FATEs, the GC hunting log, Duty Roulette, GC Levequests, Supply and Provision Missions, and a few other things, so even though 2,000 will seem like a lot at first, at least they accumulate fairly fast.

Around level 22 of the main story quest line (and your own character.) The main story quest line are the quests with the flame symbols instead of the rounded ones. If you haven't kept up with the main story quest line, you'll have to go back and pick it up and keep doing them at they level. most things are tied behind the main quest line. There's no way around it. After you get a GC (again, this quest will come from the main quest line), you'll get a side quest to bring a chocobo whistle to the chocobo keepers and that's you chocobo.

You'll need to complete the main storyline to the point where you join a Grand Company (Wood's Will Be Done/For Coin and Country/Till Sea Swallows All depending on which GC you choose). At that point you'll get the side quest "My Little Chocobo". You'll need to buy a chocobo license from the GC quartermaster for 2000 seals, and turn it in to this quest. Then you'll get your mount.

I can't do chocobo duty because of my Free company and grand company don't coincide and I can't use ridings too. How can I solve this?

There obtaining a Chocobo and battling with a Chocobo have nothing to do with your Free Company. If you mean stabling at your FC that is set by the FC leader and some FCs will deny that access to low ranking members.

Doesn't matter what grand company your free company is aligned with. Once you join a grand company in MSQ, then grind 2k seals and buy a license. Then you can do side quest that rewards you with a chocobo.
