It's all subjective advice. People will put a server in a box once they experience something egregious.
When you for example say "Odin is bad, personal experience", you are a tad short sighted in my opinion. When you say JP servers discriminate, I'm tempted to snigger. I'm on Odin and I can't count the "German only" and "French only" groups. Not to mention they will talk German/French in DF/PF groups if at least one person has the same language highlighted. Talking about rude. Good thing Odin is pretty busy and you can make your own groups quickly, but DF is a gamble.
I doubt that other servers are better than Moogle, especially DF which uses several servers to make groups. What I have experienced is that groups with a French majority often cause a disappointing anti-social experience, not to mention the perpetual wipes. I believe Moogle has a huge, French population.
Best best is to just try and find a group of people on a server (any server) which you get along with. I had the fortune to have such a group of people on Balmung, but most of them were Americans, and me being in Europe made it hard to do group stuff. Ended up transferring to Phoenix after checking out both Odin and Phoenix. At the time Odin was closed for transfers, which made my choice easy, but it was a good choice in the end. Was again lucky to find a bunch of great people on Phoenix, and I usually run content with them. I hardly ever sign up for DF solo, and PF I don't use much either, unless I know other people from my FC/LS are already in a party that's up on PF.
If you end up moving to Phoenix, feel free to send me a tell, I'm usually up for doing things as long as I'm not already doing something![]()
Moogle is a fine server. The problems you describe you will encounter no matter where you go.
