BLM Skills

At some point I believe BLM should be given a spell steal and/or mirror image ability. The spell steal would be able to take enemy/boss buffs (those that aren't mechanic based, i.e.) you'd be able to steal damage up buffs or even the enfire/enthunder/etc buffs.

The mirror image skill would create a clone of your BLM for a few seconds, possibly six seconds, no more than eight. Your clone casts the same skill that you are currently casting. You'd be able to Swift Cast > Flare and have it hit twice.

I would be surprised if BLM doesn't get any skills like this.

I'd be surprised, if they did. Seems like it'd be taking two abilities directly from WoW's Mage class.

Indeed. Not only that, but Spellsteal would essentially require BLMs be brought for every raid, especially during progression, to tear off Det Up stacks. Super unbalanced.

Aren't BLM already brought for raids, seeing as how Apocstasis is greatly needed.

Manawall is already the same thing as WoW's Frost Shield.

I like the mirror image idea, but the spell steal seems like it wouldn't work with this game imo

Blm will apparently use a pentagram to boost his damage, and it seems to be funnier than a mirror image ability, imo
