If I have already gotten a relic on one job, do I need to have next job be level 50 to start relic quest for second job?

Yes you do, The Relic quest for each job is unavailable until that Job is lvl 50.

Well, until you do the level 50 Job quest and completed your AF. Just being level 50 in your class isn't enough.

Unless you're just rilly into grinding, you're better off going for the Poetic weapon for current endgame content. The current line of Relic weapons will only buy you "an advantage" in acquiring your Heavensward Relic (and a title).

You should seriously consider the return on investment at this point.

There are certain things you can do for your next relic. Like atma farming. alex farming. I think you can do books also anything that doesn't require you to be on that class with relic in hand pretty much can be done ahead.

Yes after completing certain stages of the quest line certain ones become repeatable. Zodiac quests can be repeated once completed regardless of weapon in hand. I think the stage when you need to meld the materia to the scroll is repeatable when completed the first time.

Atmas can be farmed with any Zenith weapon. Alex can be farmed from maps with any weapon, or from Fates with any Animus weapon or above, once you complete the relevant quests the first time. Books can be completed in any order but you need to have the relevant Atma weapon equipped. And the Braves items can be farmed on any class once you've picked up the quest.

What people will typically do is complete Atma books on a second or third class while farming the dungeons for Braves items. In the meantime you can carry on buying maps with soldiery and collecting alex.
