Constant 2002 errors in lobby for days

I haven't been able to log in for a few days now - or if I do log in, immediately get booted out with a 90002 within 30 seconds.

Usually though, I get to character selection screen but my model never loads and eventually the game d/c saying lobby connection problems, 2002 error code.

I have even tried this from another ISP today and having the same problem! Is there something wrong with my account or computer?? This is a fresh install from two weeks ago.

Oh my god I've been offline for several days now because of this problem. I thought it was because of the new router we got but we've had it almost a week longer than I've been having issues with the game. I'm getting to my wits end at this point because EVERYTHING ELSE works that needs permissions to run EXCEPT Final Fantasy 14.

I've reinstalled it, checked my permissions, everything. I don't know what to do at this point.

Game has been fine for me as of late, until today came around. Today, constant lag spikes, some longer than others, and a forecast of silence from the developers as we continue to know nothing more. With the expansion coming out and this attitude of "just assume we are working on it," I wouldn't be surprised if I found myself cancelling my pre-order for Heavensward and turning to another game. Some of the free to play developers have better response times in addressing new/known issues. Even if it takes them longer to resolve them.
