The current relics told a story. I'm not sure how much more "legendary" they can get. They go from "one of the weapons wielded by the legendary zodiac braves" to "one of the true weapons...". The story of these weapons is over. It's time for a new one, which isn't a bad thing. Retire the weapon, remember how much fun you had grinding atmas, and move on.
