Thread: XP bonus and new level cap.

So as we all (hopefully) know, in 2.xx, after getting a class to 50 you then get bonus experience while leveling a different class, making it easier to level multiple classes.

With the level cap being raised, how will this be effected?
Will it go away and you have to level to 60 to regain it? Will it remain unchanged with a bonus to 50 and there will be no bonus for leveling 50 to 60 even if you get a class to 60?
Will it have two tiers where the 50 and under bonus remain s the same and then you get an even greater bonus when you hit 60 (IMO probably the best route in the long run)?

This is just a question that popped into my head and how it is handled will have a considerable effect on the leveling experience in HW and beyond, both for new players and also anyone wanting to level the new jobs.

How do you think it will be handled and what do you feel would be the best way and why?

The 50% bonus applies to any class lower in level than your highest level. So whichever class you level passed 50 does not get it. Any class lower than that class will still get it.

you would get a bonus on a level 1 if one class was level 2. The bigger the difference the longer the bonus stayed.

You don't get it at 50. You gain the 50% exp bonus when you level a class lower than your highest one.

Thought it didn't start till level 10.

Oh yeah forgot that it worked that way.
The mindset of "just level one class to 50 and then level other stuff" made me goof.
