Hi there! I'm on Balmung and was the original 'Master' of our moderately-sized linkshell. For various reasons I had chosen one of my more trusted friends to manage things during a time I knew I was going to be busy. She took over the linkshell and the free company, but nearly four months ago she vanished from the game without any warning and for no really clear reason.

As a result, the free company ownership got handed over after several weeks of inactivity, but the linkshell remains in her name and I have tried placing a few GM calls to see if this could be reassigned. My understanding is that if a linkshell master switches to another server, the ownership gets passed on to someone else, but there doesn't seem to be any mechanism in place to handle when they go inactive the way there is with free companies.

While we understand that a new linkshell can be created and distributed, this is something that would take a substantial amount of time and effort, and we also would not be able to have the same name since of course it would be taken. Many of us have grown attached to that since we have been playing together on this same linkshell since very early in 1.0.

I am hoping that someone can help us.
