Uuuuuh Now I'm no pro but you'll wanna switch it up a lot.

You should certainly use windbite before venomous, it will give the chance of bloodletter refreshing sooner.

    Lets seeeee....

Here is the rotation I try to practice; http://angered.guildwork.com/forum/t...ide-by-krietor It is for lv 50 but it should be basically the same, just without the things you have yet to unlock.

As a general rule for 'rotations' you want to use the ability that does the most damage first, in this case DoTs. There could be exceptions if an ability applies a buff or debuff then it's higher up the list.

    I usually go
Internal Release, Straight Shot, Blood for Blood, WB, VB, Raging Strikes, Hawk's Eye, Bloodletter, Heavy Shot...
Pop in BL anytime it's and refresh everything as needed. I vary it as needed as well.
Just ignore the buffs if you don't have them

But yeah, Saccharin has it right. DOTs always first really. At that level you do wanna practice but don't worry if your rotation isn't perfect.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.

There's a mental flow chart for bard:
    Is bloodletter up? Use it
Do I have the straight shot buff on me? Use it
    Also, Your rotation SHOULD be
Straight shot->Bloodletter->Venomous Shot*->Windbite*->Heavy Shot until VS or WB reach 3 seconds, then refresh. Since Bloodletter isn't on the GCD, use it whenever it's up. I put bloodletter and Misery's End on a macro with heavy shot so i use them automatically.
You'll also want to make sure you have one or more CD set (Raging Strikes, blood for Blood, Hawk's Eye, Internal Release) before using VS/WB, since DoT damage is based on your stats when the DoT is SET, not while it's ticking. This is also why you start with straight shot.
at 35 you won't see the "glory" of this rotation, but when you get River of Blood at 48 it begins to make sense.
Basically, the idea is you want to be firing bloodletters as much as possible. You get a chance, at 48, to reset the timer on bloodletter when your DoTs crit. This means you use it more often the more often you crit.

*=some people swap the order. It's controversial and there are pluses and minuses. I've heard arguments for both sides from bards that have cleared pre-Echo t13

I'll breakdown the Angered guide real quick:

Using Bloodletter first before Straight Shot will allow BL to be on cooldown. It has, what, a 20 second cooldown timer? (I'm really retarded and I'm a Bard main, go figure >_>).
Straight shot is obviously a buff that will be needed to be up 99.99% of the time (What's with the .01 you might ask. It depends. If you have a Straighter Shot buff, I usually just wait till it's about to drop then use the Straighter Shot buff [Although, you might lose DPS over this. probably. maybe. oh well.])

The regular rotation I use (not including buffs) is:
Bloodletter -> Straight Shot -> Venomous Bite -> Windbite -> Heavy Shot Spam until you need to refresh your DoTs.

    Now....with buffs:
Hawk's Eye + Raging Strikes -> Bloodletter - Straight Shot -> Blood for Blood - Internal Release -> Venomous Bite -> X-Pot of Dex -> Windbite -> Flaming Arrow + Barrage.
Whenever you use Heavy Shot, spam your Bloodletter key. It'll reset every-so-often.
    Priority System comes into place.
    Bloodletter's up! Use it ASAP.
Straight Shot has 4 seconds left? Reapply.
Try to clip your DoTs at 3 seconds. Sometimes it's alright to clip at 6 if there's a Ninja applying Trick Attack and you have some of the major buffs activated (Raging Strikes, Internal Release, Blood for Blood).

Also, replying to kyuven's point, it doesn't matter what DoT you use first (Ven or Wind). It's just a preference thing. It both evens out no matter what you use first.
