it would be better if the weapon itself do piercing dmg, not the skills. Or it would not fit to the other mnk weapon designs.

If you look closely, the "blades" are blunt like sai, or like a straight tonfa/baton with handguards. And in the last pic, you can see they retract, like an expandable tonfa/baton.
