I have been looking for the information and I have yet to find any. Does anyone know if the desynth level caps are going to be raised on expansion launch?

Little has been said as far as I know. I remember seeing something a while back that suggested that we may have the points for a fourth desynth class, but I don't remember where I saw that nor do I have a link.
I'd expect that both the desynth skill caps, and the aggregate cap, are going to go up to maintain the same relationship they have now with high ilevel gear relative to desynth ability, and how many points you have to play with after maxing three (or four) classes.
There's going to be a lot of leapfrogging in 3.0 regarding gear, so that puts FC/MC in a predicament.
I'm really curious how SE is going to address this. Perhaps the new Airship/Housing features will require FC/MC (FC4s incoming?) so that that chunk of the economy isn't completely wrecked.
BC and FC are fine. It is the MC that will become rather weird. I wonder if they're going to rename MC to BC (or FC, depending on the gear they're being obtained from) 4 and add in a new BC and FC 5?
I have long been confused by game developers putting in an item that is meant to be at the current pinnacle, but giving it a name indicative that it is THE pinnacle, there is nothing better, when they know that a new expansion, already in the works, will supercede the current ultimate item.
Add Mastercraft Demimateria II and Mastercraft Demimateria III which comes from very high level items , grindy as hell to obtain, that at first are "unique items" just to annoy you.
And of course the chance of getting those new MasterDemi II/III is not any higher than 15%, because, why not right?
