it was already a streach for the belldonnan ruins (i think i spelt that right) like the sunken temple of quan would of survived in such a state when the t12 gameplay shows that the land was hit by a shokewave of a grate size as well as reducing most of the land to a molten state
1.0 lore? its hasnt been retconned. They even talk about it in the CE bonus disc for ARR and in game itself. Some of it surely has been destroyed, the orignal mun tuy cellars for example. But those ruins spread all over under the shroud, I wouldnt say they are gone 100% positive, SE can do anything they want in the future and if making a subterane city is one of them, they already have the foundations set.

As far as Qarn.. that wasnt there in 1.0. the lore says dalamud opened up old ruins. So it made access to old sunken areas and destroyed some as well. Sashtasha is a new entrance to an old cave system which certainly did not get crushed. In 1.0 the entrances were Sposhae, casseipeia hollow, mistbeard cove.

Cutter's cry is in the same place geographically, the dungeon design is also pretty similar so its safe to say nothing happened to that underground zone. Tam tara literally IS part of the gelmorra ruins and it is also in the same area as it was in 1.0. Toto rak didnt get crushed, or darkhold, or aurum vale, halatali was opened, copperbell mines survived and is now deeper than before unleashing the hecatonchiries

    Or Gelmorra

Tam-tara and Toto-Rak were parts of Gelmorra

If you watch the movie Dalamud exploded before it hitted the planet. And Bahamut had only time to destroy the surface before Loisioux flow through his body.
And in South Shroud is now a hole that lead into some parts of Gelmorra in the ARR lore.
