Do fight club rules apply to savage coil?

Okay, fine...how come nobody talks about it? Are there not enough people doing it? I know half the fun is figuring it out yourself. But that's not the reason people don't talk about it. I'm surprised there hasn't been more guides or discussions here on the forum.

Because no one really cares about it. Before the nerfs (and esp savage), the fights are incredibly unfriendly to DF/non-static grouping and there's no rewards.

The mechanics in some savage fights can either make the fight midly different to frustratingly more difficult because of the RNG behind it (T8 towers and T6 bulb placement respectively) and there's no rewards.

This is just me, I just didn't really like SCoB fights in general and I'd rather do frontlines than go into a SCoB group...

The only reward is a title; so even groups that decide to do it will do it and then not return.

Savage Coil is still among the most difficult content in the game, if not the hardest, even with extra item levels and Final Coil to compare it to. So you won't generally see people making PFs to try to clear it either because you really want people you can trust and practice it with.

(I really want to get a group to go to Savage Coil. I've got a few interested members in my FC, but several that are tackling final coil want nothing to do with Savage)

Heavensward will be fun till ppl start capping the crap out of esoterics, then it'll probably be the same ol' roflstomping through easy dungeons again. I'm definately excited about heavensward, because i feel it will be at least mildly challenging for the first month or two. Whether or not I'll keep playing after that i guess depends on alexander raids, but iono.

I guess my biggest gripe about this game is if you don't get in early you get a nerfed empty shell version of content, instead of the experience that all the veterans got.

Limited amount of players doing them results in limited discussion about it.

My group is not the most hc static in the world and we've managed to do 6,8 and 9 from just using the limited information and gathering information from kill videos. Working on T7 but our Warrior is on holiday I can give you a quick run down of each turn if you want.

Figuring out the mechanic of a fight is what make a challenge fun. I guess players seeking the most challenging raid actually in the game probably don't see the point to just copy other team strategy and not try to take on the challenge by themselves.

Plus, the mechanic of thoses fight are basically a more hardcore version of the old ones with a few new ones. It's not so hard to figure them out, its more difficult to get the party to manage them perfectly.

According to this very few people have cleared FCoB. How many people do you think cleared SCoB? Probably not that many either. Remember you need to do SCoB first to unlock Savage, and even to unlock SCoB you need to clear BCoB first, and there are still quite a few people stuck on T5 even after all this time.

I'm not surprised no one is talking about it. I think it's because few people can even access it.
