How FFXIV will force people to level in new map more than run FATE (and bot) in NT

In WoW if you are at or above the maximum level for a given expansion, killing creatures from that expansion's zones will only give 10% of normal experience. Quests will continue to give their standard EXP, or gold for level-capped players. That force people to move to new map from start of expansion for continue leveling. If they don't have system like this in FF, people can run FATE in NT until LV60 because it's very easy from over gear and no level sync (That's cause problem about fate bot too). What do you think about it?

It won't really matter that much because you'll be going through all the areas for the story, since end game will most likely again be tied to completion of said story. As well people can run fates in Coer right now and still get to 50, yet people still do so in Northern Thanalan as well.

You also forget that the area, even after it loses its shiny, will still be newer and thus players will probably like being there more often UNLESS it just ends up being horrendsly bad for leveling.

I think that every MMO has people who choose some powerlevel grind rather than having fun only to become max level.
But it definitely doesn't hurt other people so I don't see a reason to adress that. If they want to farm FATEs rather than do new quests and enjoy new locations.. let them.

I'm not sure people doing Fates in N.Than is that much of an issue, tbh. If anything, 3-4 less parties grinding fates in the new areas will be a blessing at launch.

If lvl sync can be imposed, so can ilvl sync (if that's your concern for ppl spamming fate in NT from 50 to 60).

But I don't see why ppl would stay in NT if expansion maps have higher lvl fates. I don't lvl near Costa del Sol at lvl 42.

Also, lvling is such a short process I don't think it matters...

In fact, I'm no worry about people. I fear about fate bot problem because someone told me they will use it for leveling in NT when 3.0 come.

I much prefer that there is choice of how we wish to level, otherwise newer areas will be overcrowded and there will be no variation in player's individual style.
Im glad we dont have a WoW clone (not that i can even recall an exp cap per area for the very breif time i played it), its Final Fantasy and i like it that way.

This. I am hoping we can level off the highly level mobs like they showed in the tour video with a small group. The more choices the better!

Bots will bot, no matter the zone. If it isn't N. Than., they'll go for S. Than. If not S. Than, then W. La Noscea. Botters are more likely to go to areas with fewer players, and if that just so happens to be N. Than, then it just means that nobody cares about it anymore (actually, on Ultros really nobody cares because everyone just stays in Coerthas to 50). If you happen to want to level where the botters are, the best you can do is report them and take advantage of not having to solo the FATEs.

From my understanding of the rumors leveling 50 to 60 will fell like leveling 20 to 50. that's a hell of a FATE GRIND. And the reason for this is they don't want ppl to blow threw the expansion in a week. However ppl will play as they want to, more to them. No one really has any answers any way its all just speculation.
