I have an issue

Hello everyone, I come here today with a problem I am having with the in-game Duty Finder. I tried to queue up for Syrcus Tower with some Free Company friends today but while spots were filling with other players we were suddenly kicked from queue and I received an abandonment strike against me, putting a 30min penalty on me from using Duty Finder. My friend has had this problem aswell and I must ask, is this a known issue? If so how can it be rectified?

Sounds like someone in your preformed group left, incurring a penalty. Known issue that was debated for a while back when they introduced the penalty, but we never seemed to get any traction with SE on isolating things to only the one party member. When the preformed members splinter off like that, the DF drops the preformed group and applies the penalty to all of you.

A friend of mine in the Free Company helped me confirm this, I swore up and down I did not withdraw nor allow the queue timer to run out. It had to be a member of our party in the preform that withdrew to cause the duty to be dropped, thank you for answering my question it was very helpful.
