Sooo, i know these are extremely late in the making but, here's some screens from the ENTM YT2 event on the Coeurl server :3 You'll have to excuse lack of variation, i couldn't stay long and my lap top is dying of old age, therefore, taking screenshots in max resolution can be somewhat of a chore...

Ooh Love the angle in the first one! I remember having a bit of trouble getting you into the picture properly because you were so far back >.<

And yes, as you saw in my undies picture, I've become Xaela! Just turned 60 last night! Hopefully finishing story after maintenance is over! >.< They really cranked up the quality of story telling in Heavensward, without a doubt. It's great, the characters have more depths, feel more involved, our character especially is more than just a smiling/frowning/nodding puppet on the sidelines. And the english voiceacting is great, despite some people complaining. The British VAs make conversations and with that characters feel more authentic, and less acted, as they did in my opinion with the old VAs faking a british accent.
Really not sure atm if I am going to stick with White Mage or switch to Astrologian once I level that one. WHM seems to have become the absolute healing over time powerhouse and has one skill in particular that I am in love with. However, the 60 spell I got last night was kinda meh. Imagine that sound a balloon makes when you let all the air out. ._.
Also, our FC launched its first airship yesterday! We called it Red Maiden, the nickname of the crafter who worked the most on it. :3

Hopefully there have been no more production troubles on the YT2 side. I am still in the YT2 skype group, but that has been silent so far. /o/ This time I'll make sure to vote!

Man, the first ENTM in 3.0 is going to up the standards dramatically. DX11, new amazing outfits, new gorgeous areas, and direct control over character lighting. O_O

Does the PlayStation versions get DX11? They should at least have the character lighting, since it used to be default and now isn't.

From what I know, there has been no word fro DX11 on any of the playstation versions. If at all it'd only come to ps4 I'm sure. And character lighting was never default. It's a new feature. By default it's off - and I have it still off, because the amazing lighting of the surrounding makes for great light/shadow play on my character already. ^^


I've been saying for weeks I'd love to see an Au Ra only cycle, to celebrate the expansion. But I feel I must caution to consider that some people have not gotten the expansion and that expectations of hosts & judges should not be too coloured by the majority of people owning HW. It kind of follows the same principle of not lvl50 entrants vs someone who has everything maxed out - there are natural limitations at play. Only in HW that includes 10 more levels worth of glamour, new jobs - battle effects - and regions. I feel we could possibly loose potential models if future cycles focus too much on new regions or all the special tidbits that are exclusive to the expansion. Hopefully a healthy balance can be found.

As for pictures, most I took are pure scenery pictures while getting the new sightseeing log done (so easy compared to the old which had me cry sweat and blood), or awesome moments in the story. Here are a few of my character / me being absolutely smitten with the sky. Eyes are directed heavensward, so to say. :P

Griffon is Love, Griffon is Life. The music while flying on this is gorgeous. But no worries, there is a mount for non-CE owners that plays the same. ^^


On a brief trip back to Revenant's Toll Masha wishes she could be back soaring on her Griffon. Alas, no aether currents in Mor Dhona to explore in order to fly safely.
