It's time everyone - Round 1 of Eorzea's Next Top Model: Cycle 5 is here!

"But Ty, you dashingly handsome and incredible man", I hear you cry! "Why are you posting here instead of in a new thread for voting?!"

Well, that reason is simple. In an effort to appeal to a wider audience, we have moved the voting away from the forums. As a result, we will no longer be creating individual threads for each round as there is little point and only serves to clutter the forums and make people mad at us. Instead we will keep voting in a single location, making it much easier for everyone all around. Discussion can still happen in this thread as usual!

So, without further ado: HERE WE GO!

Eorzea's Next Top Model Cycle 5: Round 1

Week 1: Freestyle non-elimination
As stated, the first week is a freestyle. No one will be going home this week - this is here so you (as models) can see how the judges will be handing their job and they can get used to you and see what you got. But don’t think you can play it safe, because there is a stipulation to this! Heavenward is the future, but we can't forget our pasts! Therefore an homage to our past is requested - yep that's right - the freestyle image cannot be taken in any 3.0 (or beyond) area! So watch the angles, play with that light to make you shine and show 2.0 some love!

As with Cycle 4, this round is non-elimination in order to get models used to the system and let them have the benefit of at least one week of judge feedback before the slaughter begins.

The voting link is here. It's a Google Form and does require you to log in with a google account to vote - a restriction yes, but much less of one than an active FFXIV forum account. We'll be monitoring how this new voting method goes and may make adjustments in future as needed. We will, of course, be publishing the numbers once voting closes.
