I knew what I wanted to do and spent a lot of time trying to get the shot I wanted.
Out of all those photo's I did keep one shot because I liked the background.
Reason it didn't get used was because my chocobo has no feet lol.

I was going to comment how I actually like the treant better than your entry...but once you said the bit about the feathers...I can't unsee it either XD It's still an amazing shot though! With great coloration and composition! However, this could pass as a shot of healing the treant rather than fighting it...after all, they did initially suffer from the wrath of the elementals in the Gridania storyline in 1.0. (Well, rather than suffer, they were more inflicted by the rage and dished out that rage to all trespassers if I remember correctly) And the treant appears more curious of you and your companion rather than angry/threatened.

Yeah ^^ This is a great thread for seeing what else was on the model's minds, outtakes, and discussions of alternate shots.

Here's a random screenshot I took that gave me an idea

I really liked the grass partially covering our legs, so I decided I wanted to try for a kind of meadow look!

Couldn't find any places that looked super serene, but I still wanted to go with the grass thingy. Weather was a lil nasty in this D;

Tried nighttime too, but it looked too dark

I also tried to take a few screenshots that looked like we were traveling, but too much chocobo butt T.T

And guess what?! I met Adeline during a Praetorium run today! :OOO

I have come to realize that a looooot of my shots are the same (either very centered or very off to the side) and that I tried to make them more scenic than anything! XD With the release of each round, getting to see everyone's shots is a great learning experience for me

Can't wait to see what's in store for the upcoming rounds!

Hey guys! I'm such a slowpoke, I've been so busy IRL. But here are some of my outtakes!

LIMSA LOMINSA

I was really liking this concept, but none of these shots really stood out to me or told much of a story, which is why I went with the other scene.

I also tried being a pirate recruit, but felt like I was too small in the shots.

I'll post my chocobo outtakes after the episode airs.

I feel like I didn't post the Starry Night shot I had for cycle 3. Hmm.. Maybe.

Anyway, I was late to the Heavensward party cause the game wasn't available till much later for me, and I took a few shots during my adventureeeeeees.

Somewhere in the Western Highlands. I forgot where this was.

The first A rank I bumped into since reaching cap. Stuff of nightmares, yeesh.

I found the most adorable little thing in the Neverreap. He likes to follow me around. I call him Jerry.

And yeah, Gangly, I find your shots very scenic and pretty, but my experience through lurking in past cycles has tought me that thinking outside the box and trying to go that extra mile really pushes the shots one takes to the next level. But I see great potential in you

you got great feeling for colour composition I think and I really liked your limsa shot for its scenic feel. Keep working that camera and you'll be sure to rise up high in the next cycle!

Front page updated as per usual! Round 7 final fan voting round, go vote!!! Surprisingly thanks to cycle 3 I really didn't need much outtakes or concept shots. I can't find the 2-3 I did have atm, but if I do I'll post'em later!
