YES! *dances* I do NOT have to get up at 'you get up at WHAT time?!' the next morning, I can cooooome~!
fyi: I get up at 2-2:30 AM for work, so usually asleep between 6-7 PM XD
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.

Aw, man, may or may not be able to make it. Usually my Sundays are open, but I have something going on that day. Hoping everything will work out and I can stop by, for a bit, tho'!

I hope this isn't taken wrong.. I'm posting this to answer points that our beautiful judges mentioned; I only mean to let them know that I've looked at what they said and considered how to put their feedback to use in the future.
Adam - I was originally going to use the Garlean set but after an hour of waiting for someone to join my party finder and a couple tells letting me know that basically everyone threw their set out I moved on to creating something that could pass as Garlean armor. What I settled on was supposed to look like what Garlean soldiers another rank or so higher than the grunts we see would wear, perhaps styled to suit the legion they would normally be serving in (I pretended they were people that came along with my Legatus.) I agree about the sky; by the time I got those four on the scene and dressed and all it was super late and I had to take what I could get. I was hoping it being a solid color could keep if from adding clutter. If I did the shot again I'd like a stormy sky! >Thanks for the feedback!
Adeline - I'm delighted to dazzle you any time!!! <3 Same as what I told Adam; apparently I'm in the minority of glamour hoarders. XD
Flare - Thank you! That wall was pretty ugly, eh? In response to the earlier fanvotes mentioning this I went back to the scene of the crime to confirm that the issue was what I proposed with my sleep-deprived brain. It was indeed an issue stemming from the /cpose that I chose; he actually ends up off-center after he shifts. So lining him up with the background meant not lining up with the foreground. I will keep this in mind in the future when choosing poses. OwO
Sakuraya - Yes, we have deliciousbadguyscookies! You perfectly got my concept! TwT <3 You do indeed read a smirk! I knew I was coming in with very little skin showing due to my keeping with (what I percieved as) Garlean Superior Officer dress so I threw in a sadistic smirk. >w< Off-center issue addressed above. OuO> Thank you so much for perfectly getting what I was going for!!!!!
Thank you judges for your time and expertise! <3
Rhaya-chan! You brought up a ton of good points! I actually did something similar to what you proposed but when compared to what I submitted it completely lacked impact, my character had very little presence. Plus, facing away from the building I couldn't capitalize on the gloriously evil red glow. The angle: I settled on this particular angle because to me it gave the impression of imminent doom, a looming storm cloud, a powerful leader drowning you in his presence-while still showing the extras. The helmet was a necessary evil to make the character plausible as a high ranking Garlean officer in my opinion. Thank you for your feedback. OwO
The alternate shot (not further forward because of the dang enemy that spawns there):

TAT XDDDDD

I actually much prefer this too. For one, the dark setting and colors much better suit the theme, that bland empty sky really did nothing for you in the shot you submitted. You are in fact more emphasized as the back element of this alternate shot than you are as the front element of the shot you submitted.
~Terra-chan~

I liked your pic for what its worth! ^_^ Both are great, the one submitted and this alternate!

XD Every way I look at that one I seem so tiny and unimportant at the back... Looks like this is a case of where a mentor would have helped.

From the judge in me:
I see good in both pictures. the second one you posted tells more of a story.
* having you centered, puts you in the power position with your "minions" on each side. * Even though you are in the back the framing pulls the eye towards you because of the triangle shape (wide at bottom and everything positioned staggered till we see you in the center)
* There is also the symmetry thing you have going on and your soldiers dont pull focus off you..
these little things all are appealing to the eye and thus people are drawn to this picture more than the other. does that make sense?
From the model in me:
It's easy to get tunnel visioned with your own work. everything starts to not work and it's hard sometimes to put an objective eye on it. So then you second guess everything you do. but like i said both pictures were good. So dont beat yourself up. At least you now have some perspective and you know you have the shots you need in you <3
as for the mentor thing.. im still on the fence about it, but having a sounding board is definitely a plus.. dont be afraid to talk to the cycle 4 models no one will throw you under the bus and will help![]()
