Greetings, all!

A news announcement was posted on the EU Lodestone, since this is an EU-specific issue. However, since the concerns about this have reached a wider audience, I wanted to make sure the announcement was more generally known. We are still investigating what caused this, so that we can work towards a resolution that will allow the use of the code without this download issue. In the meantime, please hold onto those codes and keep an eye on the Lodestone for any additional announcements.

i do have to ask, for those (myself now included) who did enter our codes and have the Add-on in our library (and not downloaded onto ffxiv) will we have to have a new set of codes or will this add-on be the thing we need to download once the early access is avalable.

Why does this make me think Sony Europe thinks themselves the bee's knees. While this is very much an indication that it IS Sony that's keeping Heavensward off PSN (outside of Europe), this isn't the first time Sony Europe has put up something that noone outside of Europe can get. Case in point, the XIV PS4 Theme. Yes, there IS a XIV Theme on PSN for the PS4, but only in Europe last I checked. Real bugger, that.

The amount of stuff New Zealand misses out on in regards to PSN stores is disgusting, so i'm glad i have access to the theme.

I feel like I should hijak this thread with a rant about all the other issues (in game) FFXIV suffers from, since seeing a SE employee respond to anything in forums is like seeing Batman and Bruce Wayne in the same room at the same time.

how about you kindly make your own thread to complain about SE while this thread remains what it is, something to help PS3 and PS4 players with an issue that can corrupt and cause us to FULLY reinstall a now 40GB game

Just trying to keep this thread to its original intent a warning to PS3 and Ps4 players that was then turned into thread where Enkrateia keeps people updated with information on how to sort this out :3

i have seen a lot of threads on the first page of people complaining so if someone came in here wanting to hijack it to complain , they can just join onto another thread, or create there own :3 otherwise a thread that takes a while turn away from its original purpose will get locked and then none will get help until SE tells us which can be at anytime randomly in the future.

so i kind of repeat myself :3 please leave this thread to its original intention, if you wish to 'hijack' it to complain please make your own thread or join one of the meny complaint threads :3

The hotfix last night was done to address the issue, according to the hotfix notes that were posted. Hopefully this resolves the issue for people who had not used their codes yet. Please do let us know if this type of issue does occur again in the future so we can try to resolve it quickly. Thank you for your patience.
