Look at stuff you can reliably HQ, see how much it sells for, and how fast.

You don't need one star to make gil.

Your skill set should already be good enough for 1 star crafts, but you'll want to use HQ materials, unless you learn Byregot's Blessing first. It shouldn't be difficult using all HQ materials and very possible with half HQ mats. With all NQ, I found that you'd need quite a bit of luck, especially with 40 durability items.

Also, I'm not sure if you've learned ingenuity yet, but you'll definitely want that too. Try to get all of the level 15 cross class abilities if possible.

Unfortunately, just having Alchemist alone would limit his earning potential with such limited catalogue.. But then again, if I had to choose ONE class for making gil, Alchemist would be one of the top candidates too..

To OP:
Try looking at horn glue prices, Lanolin, some potions, growth formulas that you can reliably hq and just dominate the market with that. Make an alt to get extra retainers and go to town and take over the entire market, it's not such a fierce market people will just leave you alone for the most part.

Hell, you want a secret? Just buy nq artisan's gear (minus the apron) meld them to cap and you'll still have BiS on those pieces.. nq pieces are cheap, you just need an extra command IV to catch up to hq. Then you'll be able to hq 1-2 star even without cross class skills.

Buy up Mossy weapon parts and make giantsgall weapons, desynth for BC3s and sell for profit. Doing this, you WILL step on some people's feet, and you may end up in a MB battle where you'll be barely making any profit at all, so it's worth checking out the MB to see if it's profitable on your server.. check retainer names and try to determine how many big players are in the BC3 market.
