Most DPS players don't like sluggish tanks and tanks that just watch people die to prove that they're the boss and the most important role. We only need 2 votes from 2 DPS to kick these tanks off their high horse. Some healer don't like these slow tanks either.

Then you let the party know that you want to pull more and the tank will decide if they can handle it usually with healer input.

Same thing happened to me a while back at the Research Facility at the very first mob, DPS going out of there way to almost die just to pull more. I warn them the first time if I see it again, I refused to heal through any of it.
